Old timber, reclaimed from barns and other structures throughout the midwest, makes up the Old Timber line of furniture, and this bed is a great example of that. The large old beams from which the posts are formed tell a story of long ago in there rough, used appearance and are the epitome of rustic furniture. So eco-friendly as well, all reclaimed wood furniture makes good use of old wood. This beautiful, heavy bed is just an example of what can be done with such wood. Timber from old barns and structures throughout the midwest are reclaimed, refurbished, and finished in a clear coat finish to produce this Old Timbers line of furniture. Puritan, Rustic, Heirloom or Centennial Finishes are available if you prefer, and can be substituted at no extra charge.
