Old Hickory Cane and Weave

Many Old Hickory Furniture items have the option of cane or weave, which vary in look and composition. Open Cane weave, uses the strongest 3/8" rattan cane available. Wood Splint weave uses 5/8" wide strips of inner core rattan that are woven into a herringbone pattern for superior durability and comfort. Vintage Weave uses 1/2" wide pine-pulp material, that has been used since the 1930's, to give authentic rustic look and comfort. Herringbone Cane is tightly woven 5/16" rattan cane woven in a herringbone pattern. Antique Cane has the same look composition as the Herringbone Cane, except with an antique finish applied.
